My initial brief was to generate world wide interest in International Optimism Day, which falls on the 3rd Monday of January - a day which the media had dubbed 'Blue Monday' due to it being the most depressing day of the year.

A press release was distributed world wide which not only was published by many but also generated interview requests. One of the most interesting results of the campaign was that much of the global media took a positive note, with most dropping the 'Blue Monday' tag altogether and highlighting postive actions being undertaken.
