Just over ten years ago British fans were treated to a rare visit from Trapt, when they performed at the Garage in London as well as the 2004 Download and Leeds Festivals, now British fans around the Country will get another chance to see the multi-platinum selling California rockers, as they are about to embark on the UK leg of their ‘Reborn’ 2014 tour.
The tour, to promote the upcoming European launch of their latest album, ‘Reborn’, begins this coming weekend, starting at the Cavern in Exeter, Devon on Sunday 16th November, before heading over the Severn Bridge to perform at Static in Swansea, Wales on Monday 17th followed by a quick blast down the M4 Motorway for their sold out show at the Borderline in London on Tuesday night.
After London, the California rockers will head north, to The Live Rooms in Chester on the 19th November, before venturing even further north to perform at Audio in Glasgow on the 20th.
On the 21st the band will hit the Midlands, Nuneaton to be exact, where they will be at The Queens Hall. Then it’s another long haul south to The Rafters in Maidstone, Kent on Saturday 22nd and finally back along the M4 for the final gig of the tour, at The Exchange at Bristol on Sunday 23rd November.
Singer Chris Taylor Brown said of the tour,
“We thought 2014 was the perfect time to come back to the UK, since it would have been 10 years since we were last here.
Our London show has been sold out for the last month and the rest of the shows are selling well also.
We will be releasing our new album ‘Reborn’ in the UK and Europe on December 12th.
The lead single is ‘Bring It’, which we will be releasing to German and UK radio, along with music video channels.
The ‘Reborn’ album really is a new sound for us, we wanted to use new sounds and textures, as well as experiment with delays, reverbs, synths and other techniques.
Lyrically, ‘Reborn’ is as deep and thoughtful as any album that we’ve done in the past.
We’re looking forward to playing to the British fans again, it’s been way too long.”
